2010 represented an opportunity for some new players to try their hands at running the Camarillo Air Show and we feel they really did a first class job. For the first time in years, Camarillo not only played air show host to a wide variety of civilian aircraft and warbirds, but also to some of our military's most modern assets, featuring the F/A-18F Super Hornet made the show that much more exciting and static displays also included an F/A-18C from the Rough Raiders and a C-130J from the Channel Islands Air Guard.
In addition SlickPixels.com had a first of our own, for the first time, we are using a few images taken by my youngest son Luke. Now 4 years old, Luke has been coming with us to the air show since he was a baby and is very excited to finally have a camera in his hands. He shot stills with our video camera, a little tougher to get a great shot than with an SLR, but I think you will find his composition to be quite good. Enjoy!
